Pakistan: Banned outfit men among 19 arrested in Quetta raids

QUETTA: Frontier Corps carried out a search and strike operation and arrested at least 19 suspected terrorists including illegal Afghans nationals on Monday. According to FC spokesperson, security forces while conducting a raid in Kali Kamalu arrested nine suspects whereas 10 illegally detained Afghan individuals were detained from Ittehad Colony and Kali Mubarik. FC personnel also recovered two rifles and two pistols during the search operation. Security forces are continuously conducting raids in various areas of Quetta after the suicide attack on FC convoy on Saturday. At least 12 people including three security officials lost their lives in the attack whereas 33 including 15 Frontier Corps (FC) officials sustained injuries.
